Polygraphs upheld for FBI and Secret Service applicants
U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled Monday that the FBI and Secret Service may continue to use polygraph tests to screen applicants.
Most private sector employers are prohibited from requiring applicants to take a polygraph under the Employee Polygraph Protection Act but federal, state, and local government agencies are exempted.
This story may not be over, as the case could be appealed, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
