Feds to increase fines for hiring undocumented workers

Just in case you needed another reason to fill out the I-9 when you hire someone, the federal government announced on Friday it will soon increase fines 25% against employers that hire undocumented workers.

Need another reason? Okay, Homeland Security and DOJ are working to increase criminal penalties for "the most egregious" offenders. By the way, this is one of the very few instances where there are CRIMINAL penalties associated with failing to cover all your bases when hiring someone. Yup, this means jail time.
